BIBLE PASSAGES
Exodus 10:1-13:16
Jeremiah 46:13-28
Revelation 19:1-16
We live in a broken world and it is very evident. I don’t think we need to look too far to find out that things are out of sorts. We are quick to see the negative in so many areas of life that it takes a disciplined mind to look at the positive things.
The only way Egypt’s firstborn was going to make it out alive was by the application of the blood of the Passover lamb being applied as God commanded. In the same way, the only way that our justification can occur is through the blood of Jesus. God can “pass over” your lawlessness through that blood. Our redemption is dependent upon our recognition of God, who pays for the lawlessness of the world. It is a choice. We are given a choice.
Fixing the broken world does not just stop with us. Evil continues to steal, kill, and destroy.
The book of Revelation reveals and defines the name. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will rule with an iron rod, judge evil, and the nations that participate in evil plans.
Have you ever considered the need for both personal and corporate justification in the world today? I believe that all of us need to come face to face with the reality of what/who is faithful and true in our own life. What do I put my hope in? I have never questioned the authority of Yeshua and His promises to me. I am part of generations of people that dates back to Jerusalem and the Galilee that believes Yeshua is our provision for justification and that He is the living embodiment of the Word.
Questions for Reflection:
What do I put my hope in?
Has the blood been applied to the doorposts and the lentils of my heart?
Have you ever considered the need for both personal and corporate justification in the world today?
“The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.” - Exodus 12:13
“But fear not, O Jacob my servant, nor be dismayed, O Israel, for behold, I will save you from far away, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease, and none shall make him afraid.” - Jeremiah 46:27
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, and He has a name written that no one knows but Himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which He is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.” - Revelation 19:11-16
