Eyes to See

BIBLE PASSAGES

Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8

Isaiah 60:1-22

Matthew 13:1-23

Many people today do not have the eyes to see what God is doing in the earth today. Both Jew, Arab, and Gentile alike are blinded by so many things that they can not see His plan clearly. The timeless word of God has never changed.

For those who have declared Him as Lord and Savior of their life without the presence of the Holy Spirit’s activation, their eyes are still veiled and the enemy enjoys his presence in the flesh of the life of a believer. With much deception people are swayed into practices, habits, and lifestyles that appear good on the outside but are empty on the inside.

We need to seek the Lord and ask Him, by the Spirit, to give us the eyes to see His real vision and purpose according to the Word in the day and time we are living. We are living in days that many righteous people and prophets have longed to see. So as we make our declaration before the Lord our God, may we be encouraged to walk in His ways as we have promised to God. Leaning not on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in everything we do.

“You have declared today that the Lord is your God. And you have promised to walk in His ways, and to obey His decrees, commands, and regulations, and to do everything He tells you. The Lord has declared today that you are His people, His own special treasure, just as He promised, and that you must obey all His commands. And if you do, He will set you high above all the other nations He has made. Then you will receive praise, honor, and renown. You will be a nation that is holy to the Lord your God, just as He promised.”Deuteronomy 26:17-19

“Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you;”Isaiah 60:10

“Then the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And He answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of Heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”Matthew 13:10-13, 16-17

Questions for Reflection:

▪ Am I willing to walk in the ways of God?

▪ With my eyes open, am I willing to receive the secrets of the kingdom of Heaven or am I one who does not see, hear, or understand?

▪ Are my eyes and heart open to Yeshua’s words?

▪ Am I willing to do my part as a foreigner to build up Israel?

▪ Do I understand how much God loves people to worship Him relationally?
