Dear friends and ministry partners,
I am writing to you from Cyprus and reflecting on all that God has done. On February 3, I turned 50. In 1996 I started Touched by Grace Ministries, Inc. in Nashville, Tn. 25 years ago. On 7/7/07 Rose and I stepped into the next part of that reality and were ordained to serve the Lord all the days of our lives. With 40 individuals present we stepped out into the unknown with 3 small children and one on the way.
God is doing an amazing work through us as a family. We are coming up on 14 years on July 7, 2021. Last year during the height of the pandemic we not only reached our budget but exceeded it. We are currently sending the Word of God out daily to 90 nations. When 2020 started we were sending the Word of God out to 40 nations. We have seen all kinds of signs, wonders, and miracles for the expansion of the Kingdom of God over these years.
On March 11, 2020, I left Paphos, Cyprus at 6:00 am. By the evening the world was in a panic of the pandemic. I knew that whatever happened the Gospel and the Kingdom would go forward. The weekend approached and I found myself on an emergency flight with other non-essential to the United States of America in Washington D.C.
This signaled in my understanding the beginning of WWIII. After 4 months and 10 days, I was able to navigate back to my family in Cyprus. We immediately took action and our residency was granted on September 2, 2020.
Then we had an election that seemed to be out of this world of what was happening. Continued lockdowns made it impossible to maneuver, in order to do any kind of Biblical Experience trips, and I turned to help people locally around me. I began a program called, “It’s the Truth” to help people navigate these turbulent times we are in and help them lead a focused life and fear not.
As I was speaking with the Lord everything that could be shaken has been shaken. My son Josiah’s, life plan had to be altered and instead of going to the UK, he is in the USA at the moment working towards his goals. Rose and the girls went with Josiah to visit family in the USA and I am taking care of things at home here in Cyprus. The family left on December 19, 2020. Several weeks ago their flight was canceled and we are not sure when we can see them return as there are no flights currently that are coming to Cyprus consistently to bring them back. Rose is getting the needed rest and enjoying time with her family and attending a local fellowship. The girls are enjoying time with their cousins and a local youth group.
In the meantime, I began to meditate and pray during this entire time asking God what is next. The biggest mistake leaders make is not understanding when one season is over and another is beginning. Over the past 72 hours, I have prayed, sought Godly counsel, and have decided to advise the board of Touched by Grace ministries to dissolve the organization.
There are several reasons for this.
The current administration of the USA is very hostile towards those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Touched by Grace is considered at 170b church or association of churches.
The reality of censorship on social media and the targeting of Christian groups has increased.
My inability to travel and be with the board in the USA or others due to the pandemic and travel restrictions
I have not traveled outside of Cyprus since arriving back on July 18, 2020
The directive from the Father that I am going to be like Oscar Schindler in the current world war that has begun. (WWIII)
I need to remove the ministry corporation to reach more individuals and protect my ability to provide for my family in the event the United States government takes away my rights to own a Christian / Faith business
Cyprus is our home after 5 years and I have chosen to assist the community I live in locally with a company that will achieve the same goals and be locally based with those around me that I can see on a day-to-day basis.
As I continue to assimilate into the country of Cyprus, I need to bring my talents and ability to the next level. This helps bring citizenship into the picture because they see my current commitment level after 5 years growth. This is the next logical step forward.
I have seen God’s favor through my life with the local people including the Mayor and Vice-mayor of Paphos. They have reached out to me for help.
One local gym owner today at the gas station shared with the attendants, “I have saved their life during this pandemic.”
What does this mean for those of you who have been supporting Touched by Grace Ministries, Inc. over the years? First, I thank you and bless each of you for all your prayers and support. Two, I invite you to partner with me going forward in my new season. I will not be working in the Non-profit sector anymore, but a for-profit company. You are welcome to join me and invest in that company if you desire.
I will continue through the new company reaching the world one person at a time.
I will continue to be involved in Social media until the day the war is too strong there and I will have to remove myself from all social media. I have currently canceled my Twitter, and Instagram account because of the censorship that has come to the forefront from the owners of these companies.
