BIBLE PASSAGES

Leviticus 1:1-6:7

Isaiah 43:21-44:23

 Romans 8:1-13

For those who claim to walk with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are we hearing from the Spirit today with a heart of flesh or are we still ensnared in the trappings of the traditions of men that lead to deceptions, distraction, and death? Traditions are only beneficial if they bring us to the truth of who God is as a relational and interactive partnership of love and understanding.

God created us in His image and He considers us to be the best quality. We must not grow tired of God’s plan at work in our lives. Instead we must understand that through Yeshua and the indwelling of the Spirit we have been set free. In Isaiah 44 God simply tells us that He made us, has not forgotten us and paid the price to set us free. The only requirement that He gives to us is to return to Him.

The enemy likes to deceive us with condemnation that God could never take us back or be in relationship with us because of what we have or have not done for Him. The guilt we feel from our sin creates a cloud around us that skews our understanding of who God truly is and how his heart desires to be in relationship with us.

The answer for us is to believe that the Holy Spirit lives in us when we believe in Yeshua and whatever is burdening us must be thrown off so that the heaviness can be lifted and we can be set free to live as God created us to live. Yeshua promised that we were to receive the promise of life and life more abundant. The Spirit of Life in Yeshua has set us free!

“The Lord called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting.” - Leviticus 1:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” - Romans 8:1-4

“If the Spirit of him who raised Yeshua from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Yeshua Ha Meshiack from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” - Romans 8:11

“Pay attention, O Jacob, or you are my servant, O Israel. I, the Lord, made you, and I will not forget you. I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” - Isaiah 44:21-22

“I have made Israel for Myself, and they will someday honor Me before the whole world. “But, dear family of Jacob, you refuse to ask for My help. You have grown tired of Me, O Israel! You have not brought me sheep or goats for burnt offerings. You have not honored Me with sacrifices, though I have not burdened and wearied you with requests for grain offerings and frankincense. You have not brought Me fragrant calamus or pleased Me with the fat from sacrifices. Instead, you have burdened Me with your sins and wearied Me with your faults.” - Isaiah 43:21-24

Questions for Reflection:

▪ Have I heard the Lord through the Holy Spirit speaking to me?

▪ What am I burdening the Spirit within my life?

▪ Am I honoring God before the world with my life?

▪ Do I believe His Spirit dwells in me through my mortal body?

▪ Have I been set free or am I living in condemnation?

▪ Am I still trying to appease God with my own works for salvation?

▪ Do I understand that the law has been fulfilled by the Spirit in me?
